Andrew
Miliucci's 1980 Trans-Am - PART 1
Here are
a few pictures of Andrew's father-in-law's
1980 Pontiac Trans-Am. This car was last
on the road in 1997 and is now in the hands
of Andrew. The project will start with
just getting the car certified and on the
road for the summer. The car is currently
running and almost everything works. The
brakes need a little work, the exhaust
needs a little work and the engine could
really use a tune up. There is a little
body work that needs to be completed on
the front fenders and a paint job will
be in a must at some point. The interior
has a few small broken pieces but we are
sure that they can be fixed or replaced
without too much searching or effort. Andrew
would like to get the car on the track
and have some fund driving it in a straight
line.
The first
big step in the project was to get the
car towed to a location where it could
be worked on. We towed the car up to Orangeville
to my garage where it will be for the spring
until we can get it on the road. Matthew
Rood offered his towing services and picked
up the car in Brampton Ontario and delivered
it to My house in Orangeville (40min north
of Brampton). Everything went well and
we hope to get to work on the car soon.

will be following the progress of this
project. Make sure you stay tuned for PART
2 in the near future.
