Peter Rood's 1973 Mark IV

Well here are some pictures of my Lincoln. This car has been in my family since 1975 and was given to me by my father in 2000. The car was in pretty good shape over all but when I started to take things apart I noticed it needed a lot more work.

I started with the motor, the seals were all dry as a bone. Fluids leaked everywhere. I didn't take the block out but I took everything else off. I cleaned, painted and re-sealed the engine. I got rid of the points and put in an Ignitor kit. I also fitted the engine with an Edelbrock #1406 carburetor.

The engine and body work was all done in the driveway over a 2 year period (2000 - 2002).
