Blues Cruise 2009 (Jun. 5, 2009)
The 2009 Blues Cruise was a huge success. Over 250+ classic cars and hotrods came out on what most felt was the most beautiful day of the year so far. The cars were ushered into the old downtown core in Orangeville Ontario and angle parked on Broadway with the help from members of the Road Hazards car club.
Once your car was parked it was off to the registration table. This was a FREE show but entrants still received a goodie bag, dash plaque and a ticket for door prizes.
Because this show is part of the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival, entrants and spectators alike were entertained by the many bands that were setup throughout the show. The street was alive with good music, food, street vendors and a big crowd.
It was nice to see vehicles from outside town and vehicles that just made it out to their first ever car show. The show had something for everyone. There were classic cars, wicked street rods, hotrods, rat rods, muscle cars, custom cars and some special interest vehicles. I am sure most of the entrants will be back again next year. I know HotRodding.ca will be.
You can discuss the show on the official thread.
Here are a few pictures from the show. Enjoy!
