Autumn Colours
Festival (Sept. 17, 2006)
The 6th Annual
Autumn Colours Festival Show & Shine in
Saint-Antoine, N.B., Canada, was held on Sunday,
September 17th, 2006.
This year's
event was our biggest with 277 vehicles registered.
Participants came from New Brunswick, Prince
Edward Island, Nova Scotia and the United States.
Participants were greeted with warm weather
and great hospitality throughout the day. At
the end of the show, a parade was held through
the village with hundreds of spectators lining
the main street to admire the vehicles. Leading
the parade was Miss Canada International, followed
by the Queen and Princesses of the Autumn Colours
Festival, a Member of Parliament and the Mayor
of the Village. This parade was enjoyed by
all.
Numerous prizes
were given during the event, these prizes being
donated by generous sponsors from the area.
All workers at this event were volunteers and
all proceeds from this event ($3,300.00) will
be donated to the Tree of Hope Foundation (Oncology
Centre of the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in
Moncton, N.B.).
Looking forward
to seeing you on September 16, 2007 for our
7th Annual Autumn Colours Festival Show & Shine.
