Dieppe Kite Festival (
Aug. 18, 2007 )
The Dieppe Kite Festival is held every 2 years in the City of Dieppe ( suburb of Moncton NB ), people from all over the world come and display there kites and ability flying them. There is kites of all shapes and sizes, from Octopus to buildings and everything in between. Some are as big as 30 metres long. It is fantastic to see the different sizes and shapes and what some flyers can do with these kites.
This year turned out to be sunny and windy which kept some of the bigger kites on the ground as there would have been no way of holding them ( pulling force from the wind would have been tremendous ).
Hope you enjoy some of these photos.
