Father's Day Car Show 2007 ( June 17-10, 2007 )
On this special day, "Fathers" from southern New Brunswick who enjoy cars sure have it made. The Ford Country Club invited all the dads and car buffs to their 17th annual Father’s Day Car Show on June 17, 2007. With 171 registered participants and a superb sunny day, the show was successful with all those great vehicles and many visitors.
The location of this fine event was Hotel Moncton, which is next to Magnetic Hill. The event started off with a Casino Night on Saturday and Club Members were at the site early on Sunday to welcome everyone. For many years, the Charity of Choice for the Club has been the Deaf/Blind Rubella Association. Local volunteers and persons affected with deaf/blind and rubella help at the public entrance gate during the show. The Club plans to make a donation to the Association with some of the proceeds of the show.
The prestigious Taylor Ford Trophy was awarded to Don McAllister from the Miramichi area for his fabulous 57 Ford Skyliner Retractable.
