Powell River Car Show ( Aug. 12-13, 2006 )

The 2006 car show was another great success. Powell River is located about 4 to 5 hrs including two ferry rides North of Vancouver. The show was on August the 12 & 13. Saturday the 12 we had a cruise for about ½ hr ending at the 50 & 60 dance. The dance had a live band which was excellent and went till 1:00 am. The car show was from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday. Entered in the show were about 70 cars & trucks 30 from town, the rest were from Sechelt, lower mainland, Vancouver Island and some from the USA and as far away as Alberta. The show took place next to the local A&W and Canadian Tire. The blue & silver 55 Chevy took peoples choice.

The 2007 show, cruise & dance is on the 11 & 12 of August & will be held at Willington Beach Park & Camp Sight which is down town. This location provides a lot of great shopping opportunities for the ladies.
